Design Options For Your Site

There are many well designed websites on the internet. However, there are many more badly designed ones. For your website to be any use it must be among the former.

Many websites are only designed to work with one specific browser. AW CompuTech believe that this is wrong and cuts down the visitors to your site. We will make sure that your webpage will be viewable no mater what choice of operating system and browser is used to view your pages. (Within limitations of course - we can not make a text browser display graphics, we can however make sure that a text browser user can still view your site.) We fully support the Any Browser campaign.

The precise style of your site will, of course, be dictated by your needs. We will produce a design that reflects your corporate image and required "feel."

What sort of website might I need?

It is important that you have the type of website that is right for you. A summary of various options is below. This is a only a rough guide - we will, together with yourself, design a custom solution to fit your needs.

• Single Page
  A simple page providing information on what you do and contact details.

   
• Multiple Static Pages
  Information about yourself split over several pages. This type of site is useful if you have a lot of information that does not change regularly and is too much to fit on one page.
   
• Multiple Static Pages with Link to Third Party Web Software
  This is similar to the above but allows an interface with any third party hosted web software. For example if you ran a hotel and just wanted a simple website with a link to a booking engine you could have a couple of pages with information on your hotel with a link to the external booking system you use. (Of course you might prefer to integrated the booking fully within a customised website whichg is the next option.)
   
• Dynamic Pages
  If you have information that changes we can set up dynamic pages for you which change on a regular basis. If necessary this can be linked to a full backend database giving you a custom web application. This can be anything from a Content Management System to a fully featured high end customised website rich in features and integrated into social media networks for publicity.
